- Q: Who is RetainChase for?
  A: Commercial trade subcontractors — electrical, mechanical, plumbing, drywall, concrete, glazing, fire protection and similar — roughly $1–20M in revenue, who bill general contractors monthly with pay applications and have retainage held.
- Q: Does RetainChase send emails to my GCs automatically?
  A: No. Every follow-up is a draft until you approve it, and approved messages are copied or exported so you send them from your own email. Direct sending is planned but off by default.
- Q: How do I get my invoices in?
  A: Upload a CSV export from QuickBooks, Sage, Foundation or a spreadsheet, upload a pay app or invoice PDF and let AI pull out the GC, project, amount, retainage and dates, or type a job in by hand.
- Q: Does it handle lien deadlines?
  A: No. RetainChase does not track or calculate mechanics' lien or notice deadlines and is not legal advice. Use a lien service or construction attorney for that.
- Q: What does the free plan include?
  A: Up to 3 active jobs with AI follow-up drafts and the aging dashboard. No credit card required.
